I am sure many of you have been admiring the works of timeless Italian sculptors like Michelangelo and Cellini (just to name a couple) and wondered at their ability to convey the mood along with the atmosphere with every single sculpture. I believe the purpose of Art –is to stir the feelings and inspire. Have you ever thought that you yourself might have a talent for sculpting? I believe that we are born with a specific set of skills and talents. Sometimes, it seems we just need a little bit of inspiration to help us reach for more. In this book I share my sculpting experience with you. Ever since I came across polymer clay, I fell in love with this wonderful and extremely versatile medium. Its ability to reproduce almost anything in 3D has inspired me and fuelled my passion for sculpting. It is also very easy to work with. One of the shapes I love sculpting is the human form.

There are a lot of tips and techniques shared in this book. You will find a lot of useful information on working with polymer clay as well as conditioning it for best results, storing it, decorating, painting, working with bases, etc. The sculpting method I am sharing with you is only one of the many ways to sculpt. I do not create all my figures using this specific method only. After you try your hand in sculpting you will see that there are many approaches to figure sculpting.
